CPAP masks have many hours of contact with the skin while you sleep at night. Good mask hygiene is therefore vital. You can’t always rely on conventional cleaning agents to achieve a full and thorough clean of the delicate mask surface. As a consequence, the mask may age more quickly and bacteria may accumulate on the surface. This can cause skin irritation or even inflammation. It doesn’t have to be this way!
SomnoSept is an impressive cleaner specially developed for use with silicone and medical-grade plastic. Extremely economical, its cleaning action is powerful yet gentle for your CPAP components. This regular mask care can also significantly extend the life of your mask.
The high-quality stainless steel CPAP hose brush makes it possible to clean your CPAP hose even more thoroughly. The hose interior gets cleaned by the bristles of the brush with gentle pressure. This prevents mould or micro-organisms forming in the hose.
Sturdy material: The brush wire is made of stainless steel. This makes the brush material strong enough to clean the CPAP hose extremely thoroughly, by generating plenty of pressure without the need for physical exertion.
With a total length of 120 cm, the oxyhero brush stainless steel CPAP hose brush is suitable for all standard hoses of up to 240 cm in length. Application
Add 1 teaspoon of Cleaner (equivalent to approx. 5 ml) to 2–3 litres of lukewarm water (approx. 40° C) Immerse breathing mask, hose or other accessories made from plastic or silicone and give the solution a short amount of time to get to work. Carefully uncoil and straighten the hose brush. Hold the hose as straight as possible to prevent unnecessary wear or damage. Gently push the CPAP brush further into the hose using short thrusting motions. To clean the other end, insert the hose brush into the opposite end of the tubing. After cleaning, rinse the mask and hose thoroughly with cold water.Return Policy
