Product description
What you need to know about snoring and sleep apnea…
Sleeping on your back causes the back of the tongue to fall backwards into the throat area due to gravity, as the tongue muscle relaxes during sleep. This causes the throat area to become constricted or even blocked.
The constriction causes the air to flow through the throat more quickly than normal. This quick airflow makes the throat tissue vibrate. It’s a bit like a strong gust of wind blowing down a narrow street. This is pretty loud too – just like snoring.
The comfortable and effective somnipax belt helps you stop snoring in mere minutes.

How somnipax belt ensures shared nights and restful sleep
How somnipax belt ensures shared nights and restful sleep
The somnipax belt is worn around the chest or stomach. The positioning belt detects whether you are lying on your back or side. When you lie on your back, the device vibrates gently. The vibration stops as soon as you are in a side position.
This trains you to sleep on your side or stomach. Your snoring will become significantly quieter or cease altogether.
No more lonely nights. You will wake up feeling refreshed and ready to start the day.
Ultimate comfort & personalised to your sleep pattern
The somnipax belt is very discreet and unobtrusive. You’ll barely notice wearing the device. This is in big difference to traditional positional therapy products, with their bulky back pads that are distinctly noticeable.
The somnipax belt is very comfortable to use: The device, with its smooth rounded edges, sits securely on the belt, which gently embraces your chest or stomach. The vibrations can be adjusted through multiple levels, ensuring the device’s impulse is precisely calibrated to your preference. Operation is straightforward and intuitive via a large, circular button – perfectly simple to use, even in the dark.
Here’s a small example that demonstrates how brilliantly the somnipax belt adapts to your sleeping habits: The device only activates after you’ve been on your back for several seconds. This thoughtful delay allows you to naturally roll from one side to the other without triggering any vibrations.
Ultimate comfort & personalised to your sleep pattern

Top medics confirm: Positional therapy helps with snoring and sleep apnoea
Active positional therapy (such as somnipax belt) demonstrates clinical effectiveness for position-dependent sleep apnoea, a condition affecting 95% of sleep apnoea patients. This has been substantiated by researchers at the prestigious Imperial College London following their comprehensive analysis of 18 clinical studies. Their findings conclude:
“Vibrotactile positional therapy devices are effective in treating positional obstructive sleep apnoea; they reduce both AHI and time spent in the supine position.”
The German Society for Sleep Medicine affirms in its current S3 guideline on positional therapy:
“Active positional therapy therefore appears to be a realistic long-term treatment method for supine-dependent obstructive sleep apnoea. This was not the case with most passive positional therapies (e.g. ‘tennis ball technique’).”

Application
Snoring can have many different causes. somnipax belt is an optimal solution to combat positional snoring. It helps you to sleep in on your stomach or your side and thus addresses the cause of your snoring. However, if you only snore with your mouth open, the cause is independent of the position you sleep in. In this case your snoring is caused by vibrating palatal tissue and therefore cannot be prevented with the somnipax belt. Instead, anti-snoring mouth guards help ameliorate this type of snoring.
