What could be the reason that a tensioning band cannot be properly fastened or affixed to the hook attachment? Is it possible for this to be rectified individually or is this the result of a manufacturing defect?

Unfortunately, it is on occasion possible that – during the moulding process – the thermoplastic material can impede access to the attachment hooks for the tensioning bands. This can be remedied by either be carefully cutting the excess material with the aid of a knife or scissors, or – when warmed up – be adjusted manually (using one’s finger). As each bite and individual moulding process is different, such incidents cannot always be avoided. However, in most cases, this issue can be rectified via readjustments.
