Instructions for use
Do not use Yogi's NoseBuddy's nose shower when you suffer from an acute inflammation of the nostrils, the inside of your nose is injured, or your nose is bleeding heavily or you have recently experienced a heavy nose bleed. If you are particularly vulnerable to illness, for example in the first days after an operation, you should preferably use sterile or boiled water or a sterile isotonic saline solution from the pharmacyInstruction manual
Fill the measuring spoon with ordinary table salt (free from additives such as iodine or fluoride) and pour the salt into the jug. If possible, the salt should not contain any anti-caking, as these could possibly damage the mucous membranes. Salt without additives or anti-caking agents is available in many health and beauty retailers. If you have a stuffy nose and swollen mucous membranes, you can also use a little more salt - it removes fluid from the mucous membranes and thus reduces swelling. Then fill the jug with lukewarm tap water up to the fill mark (500 ml). Stir with the measuring spoon until all the salt has dissolved.Place the spout of Yogi's NoseBuddy on one nostril, breathe through the mouth and tilt your head slightly over a sink so that the free nostril is lower than the other. Now tilt and lift Yogi's NoseBuddy slightly. The water flows into your one nostril and out through the other nostril. Use about half of the saline solution, then gently blow your nose and repeat the process with the other nostril. Clean the nasal douche thoroughly after each use. Wash it in the dishwasher every now and then to disinfect it.
