Effective method to avoid sleeping on your back and therefore effective in the treatment of snoring and position-dependent sleep apnoea. The FlexBlue RLV evolved from the classic RLV vest and provides even greater comfort thanks to a breathable fabric, a light mesh lining and an improved cut. In addition to an innovative Air-Concept, the Deluxe back padding features specially integrated foam blocks that allow the padding to adapt perfectly to the spine. Alternatively you can find the RLV Vest with an affordable, standard, ventilated padding.
The vest is available in six different sizes – please refer to the chest and waist circumference specifications below to select the right size.
Spare part / a change of clothes: Of course you can buy the padding and the vest itself (without padding) as a spare part or a change of clothes separately from us.

Application

Snoring or sleep apnoea is often position-related, so the problem occurs only when you sleep on your back. In such cases the RLV Vest is an optimal solution. It helps you to sleep on your side and thus automatically stops you from snoring. If you always snore with your mouth open, the snoring may be caused by vibrating palatal tissue. This occurs regardless of position and therefore cannot be prevented through positional therapy. In this case it is better to use an anti-snoring mouth guard. The vest also does not help prevent position-independent sleep apnoea and the associated arousal reactions, as it only affects the sleeping position.

Do not use the product in case of spinal complaints, convalescence after intervertebral disc surgery, positional vertigo or position-independent sleep apnoea syndrome and its associated arousal reactions.

Instruction manual

Wear the RLV Vest like a jacket before going to bed and fasten it with the soft Velcro fastener. At night the vest automatically prevents you from sleeping on your back thanks to its padding. The RLV Vest is easily machine washable. Remove the back padding from the vest before washing! You will find further information in the enclosed instructions for use.
