It is inserted into the mouth overnight and pushes the lower jaw forward – mandibular advancement between 0 -10 mm is possible. Prevents the upper respiratory tract from being obstructed, which is one of the main causes of snoring.

Application

Snoring can have several causes. Many products such as nasal dilators or plasters only help effectively if the cause of your snoring is a difficulty in breathing through your nose. If these products don't work for you, you may suffer from narrowed airways in the throat area. This is where SnorBan comes in. SnorBan pushes your lower jaw forward and thus keeps your airways clear. If you only snore with your mouth open, your snoring could be caused by vibrating palatal tissue. The SnorBan mandibular advancement device also helps alleviate this because it is a one-piece, closed device that prevents you from unconsciously switching to breathing through your mouth, at night.

Return Policy

For hygiene reasons, this product is delivered in sealed hygienic packaging. You are therefore NOT able to return the product if the sealed hygienic packaging has been unwrapped. Provided the sealed packaging is unopened, you have the option to return the product to us within 30 days of receipt. More information Like all mandibular advancement devices, the SomnoGuard 3 requires an acclimatisation period of two to three weeks, as it is initially perceived as a foreign object. The SomnoGuard 3 also deliberately blocks most of your mouth breathing so that the palate does not dry out and you switch to healthier nasal breathing. If you suffer from colds or pollen allergies, you should therefore ensure that your nose is clear by using a nasal dilator , a nasal douche or a nasal decongestant spray. The SomnoGuard 3 may not be suitable for you if you: have a protruding lower jaw or a severe overbite, suffer from jaw pain, loose teeth, a serious gum, have temporomandibular joint dysfunction or other jaw problems, have chronic asthma or epilepsy, wear braces, dentures, bridges or removable partial dentures or have problems with the upper or lower front teeth, are under 18 years of age. If one or more of these cases apply to you, please consult your dentist or contact us before you place your order.

Instruction manual

The Somnoguard 3 is intended to be worn at night while you sleep. Rinse it briefly with fresh water, insert it into your mouth and adjust your preferred level of mandibular advancement. By moving the lower jaw forward, the SomnoGuard 3 prevents one of the most common causes of snoring: throat obstruction by a flaccid tongue. You can clean your SomnoGuard 3 mandibular advancement device (MAD) with mild soap and lukewarm water. Alternatively, put some mouthwash in a cup and clean the MAD with mouthwash and a toothbrush. After one minute at the most, remove the MAD from the cup containing mouthwash and rinse it with fresh water. For optimal cleaning results, you can use special cleaning tablets or gels (such as BONYplus tablets or the Curaprox cleaners). Never use toothpaste or normal denture cleaners for cleaning!
