Application
Snoring can have several causes. Many products such as nasal spreaders or plasters only help effectively if the snoring cause is that you can hardly get air through your nose. If these products don't work for you, you may suffer from narrowed airways in the throat area. This is where SomnoGuard SP Soft comes in. SomnoGuard SP Soft pushes your lower jaw forward, keeping your airways clear. If your snoring is not caused by reduced nasal breathing or narrowed airways in the throat, the snoring may be caused by vibrating tissue in the palate. This occurs when you breathe with your mouth open at night. In this case you should consider the anti-snoring mouthpiece somnipax instead of the snoring splint. This is better suited to prevent vibrating tissue.Return Policy

You can easily adjust the mandibular advancement device (MAD) / anti-snoring mouthpiece to your bite. Place the upper mouthpiece of the SomnoGuard Soft SP MAD in a hot water bath for approximately 3.5 minutes. Then remove it, fit the upper mouthpiece onto the upper teeth and firmly press it into place. Repeat the procedure with the lower jaw mouthpiece. Place the MAD in your mouth before going to sleep, insert the MAD in your mouth and select tensioning bands to push the between 0 mm and 10 mm forward. For normal jaw structures we recommend tensioning bands with 4 to 5 mm feed for newcomers. You can clean your mandibular advancement device (MAD) with mild soap and lukewarm water. Alternatively, put some mouthwash in a cup and clean the MAD with mouthwash and a toothbrush. After one minute at the most, remove the MAD from the cup containing mouthwash and rinse it with fresh water. For optimal cleaning results you can use special cleaning tablets or gels (such as BONYplus tablets or the Curaprox cleaners). Never use toothpaste or normal denture cleaners for cleaning! The ingredients can damage the surface of the MAD.
